Handmade Christmas

This Christmas the family was challenged with making gifts by hand. Challenge accepted!!

I chose to make a few dog blankets and a table runner. The dog blankets are a double layer of fleece with some fun topstitching. Fully machine washable, they are easy to take care of.

The table runner is made from festive prints with a back that can be used any time of year. I really loved the gold sparkle it had to it.

Sandra's Custom Order

Finally completed this custom order for Sandra's two little princesses. Sandra ordered a crib bumper, a two-toned dust ruffle, a minky-backed quilt with satin blanket binding, two coordinating memo boards and another minky backed zebra print blanket. I had so much fun with the prints she chose for her girls!

Jackson's Crib Set

This crib set was made especially for a sweet boy named Jackson! Jackson's mamma chose some really cute and modern fabrics for this set in greens and browns. We did a crib bumper, dust ruffle, quilt and I added a fun puppy blanket.

Later, we added a rail cover after this little man got teeth and started chewing on the crib!

Nautical Dress

Forgive the terrible selfie in the mirror, but I had to share this dress I made to wear for my friend's nautical-themed wedding. I saw a similar dress online but it only came in a small . . . that wasn't going to work!

I found a dress pattern in a cut that would work for my figure. I made the dress out of a navy blue linen and then added white linen stripes on the skirt. I am happy with how it turned out. It's always fun to be able to make exactly what you want when you can't find it in stores!

Custom Crib Set for Miss Evangeline

Crib set done! Bumper, dust ruffle, small quilt and a photo board for Miss Evangeline.

Evangeline's mamma chose beautiful batiks that reminder her of the ocean. A calming, beautiful set that looks great with a sweet eyelet lace trim on the bumper.

I did a simple trip around the world pattern for the quilt
